Staffmark is hiring a detail-driven Accounts Payable Clerk for a temp-to-hire opportunity with a dynamic educational organization that's making a real difference in the lives of students. If you're a pro at processing invoices, juggling purchase orders, and keeping things organized behind the scenes, this is your moment to shine!

Hours & Pay:

Pay Rate: $28.00-$30.00/hour, based on experience

Schedule: Monday-Friday



  • 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM or
  • 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (schedule depends on company needs)



Daily Responsibilities:



  • Process accounts payable transactions and enter purchase order data into the system
  • Generate and submit purchase orders for approval; send to vendors
  • Review, match, and verify invoices and purchase orders; address discrepancies
  • Communicate with vendors to confirm pricing, order details, and updates
  • Compile, maintain, and organize accurate records, reports, and filing systems
  • Respond to inquiries from vendors and internal staff about invoices and orders
  • Operate a telephone console or switchboard; route calls and take messages
  • Greet and direct visitors; provide general information to staff and the public
  • Prepare bank deposit paperwork and make occasional bank runs as needed
