Overall Description of Responsibility or Nature of Work This is an Instructor, Senior Instructor, Assistant Professor or Associate Professor position in the division of Endocrinology. As an important member of the Endocrine community practice team, the provider's primary responsibility is outpatient care for patients with all types of endocrine disorders. This is a 1.0 FTE position. Key Responsibilities: Your duties in this faculty position will include: Clinical: All clinics will be at the Highlands Ranch Hospital
- Nine half-day Endocrinology clinics per week. Each half day is 4 hours.

- Attendance at conferences within the Division and Department
Required Competencies: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Prior fellowship training in Endocrinology, Metabolism and Diabetes
- ABIM Board certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology, Metabolism, and Diabetes

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire. This is an open rank position and could be categorized as Instructor, Senior Instructor, Assistant Professor or Associate Professor based on experience and qualifications as indicated below: Academic rank will be determined during the interview process after discussion between you and the department about your previous experience and academic desires. - 0-4 years of experience
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Endocrinology
- Eligibility for licensure to practice medicine in the state of Colorado
- Must have an active DEA license on or before hire date
Senior Instructor
- MD/DO degree
- 0-4 years of experience
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Endocrinology
- Eligibility for licensure to practice medicine in the state of Colorado

Assistant Professor
- MD/DO degree
- 0-4 years of experience

Preferred Qualifications:
- Applicants should be enthusiastic about a career in clinical Endocrinology with a strong interest in providing excellent clinical care in the outpatient setting.
- Bilingual

- Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients and their family members, medical staff, and the public.
- Ability to maintain quality control standards.
- Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
- Ability to interpret, adapt and apply guidelines and procedures.

Anticipated Pay Range:
|
The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as HIRING RANGE: Base Salary: Instructor: $195,000- $210,000 Senior Instructor: $195,000- $210,000 Assistant Professor: $200,000 - $220,000 Associate Professor: $220,000 - $240,000 Compensation is composed of a base salary (dependent on rank) and additional variable compensation based on productivity to achieve total compensation. The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless it is non-exempt. Your total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck.
