About the Role The IT Governance, Risk and Compliance (IT GRC) Analyst works with the Howard Hughes IT GRC team, IT stakeholders, management, business leads and various risk management functions. Moreover, the Analyst is responsible for the ongoing IT Risk activities as well as supporting day-to-day IT Compliance requirements. What You Will Do
Assists IT Governance, Risk and Compliance Director and SVP in day-to-day tasks including but not limited to reporting metrics, fielding inquiries, tracking projects, and pending reviews. Collaborate with IT partners to review SOX documentation (risk control matrices, narratives) and identify areas where control enhancements and/or documentation improvements are required. Support the IT SOX key control testing activities, providing IT evidence, explanations, and coordination with Internal Audit. Coordinate testing approach and align expectations with internal and external partners to ensure documentation and testing complies with industry standards and allows for reliance by the external auditors. Coordinates oversight for IT owned key controls, in accordance with IT policies to ensure overall IT compliance. Help ensure creation of remediation solutions and/or exception documentation where applicable. Monitor and follow-up of implementation of agreed actions and tracking of progress throughout the year. Contribute to high-quality, value add, IT process reviews for continuous improvement of the IT group's control environment.
About You
Bachelor's degree in business administration (BA), Management Information Systems (MIS), or a related field from an accredited institution. Minimum 2-3-year experience in Information systems auditing. Minimum 2-3-year experience in IT SOX monitoring and assessment processes. Familiarity with Risk Management and Technology related standards/principles (NIST, COBIT) General knowledge of IT concepts and best practices Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products and services Excellent written and verbal communication skills, critical thinking, collaborative and interpersonal skills Ability to work under tight deadlines and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
