JOB TITLE: Software Engineer IV

WORKSITE: Dallas, TX

JOB DUTIES: Design, develop, and maintain software applications using programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and design solutions that meet business needs. Write and execute unit tests and integration tests to ensure the quality of software. Debugging and resolving technical issues that arise during development and testing. Participate in code reviews and providing constructive feedback to other team members. Document code and maintain technical documentation for software applications. Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in software engineering. Participate in agile software development processes, such as daily stand-ups and sprint planning. Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools. Supports and guides the team with use of Informatica PowerCenter and Data Quality tools.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or an IT related field. Plus 8 years experience in software development in a software engineer, database administrator, or a related role/capacity.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• 4 years of experience in programming languages (PL/SQL and Shell scripting).
• 5 years of experience using Informatica PowerCenter, MDM, Power Center c360, IICS, and Data Quality.
• 3 years of experience learning new technologies and adapting to changing requirements.
• 4 years of experience utilizing problem-solving skills and working collaboratively in a team environment.
• 5 years of experience in resolving on-going maintenance issues and bug fixes; monitoring Informatica sessions as well as performance tuning of mappings and sessions.
• 3 years of experience with Informatica data governance product suite using EDC and Axon.
• 6 years of experience with upgrading Informatica, apply patches, hotfixes and EBF's.
• 2 years of experience with MDM and API performance testing experience.
• 1 year of experience applying technical knowledge of Data Warehouse Architecture, ETL using Oracle, and Teradata Server databases.
• 5 years of experience utilizing package software: Informatica ETL and reporting tools.
• 3 years of experience in Data Warehousing SDLC and architecture of ETL, reporting and BI tools.
• 4 years of experience working with Linux environment and Unix scripting skills for automation of tasks related to administrative tasks.
• 5 years of experience in migrating repositories and Domain from lower environment to higher environment of Informatica.
• 3 years of experience utilizing Oracle, Teradata, and SqlServer databases.
