Duties are to lead requirements gathering meetings with application teams, Database Administrators, and/or business partners to understand business needs. Responsible for the entire flow of the data into the Data Warehouse. Responsible for developing Informatica packages used in the Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes for Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW). Responsible for developing Python notebooks used for data ingestion into Databricks Delta Lake. Develop and maintain the Operational data stores (ODS) and associated data intelligence environments including data lakes, data marts, and metadata repositories. Design and implement performance data movement to Databricks using the multiple ETL tools and Python frameworks for batch and real-time event data streams. Gather business and information requirements from various product owners across various functional units. Ensure database features and capabilities are incorporated into data model designs to optimize performance, resiliency, and scalability. Deliver and present proofs of concept of key technology components to project stakeholders and internal technology leaders. Problem-solving of Data warehouse and ODS application issues and production errors, including high level critical production issues that require immediate attention. Create and optimize data structures for reporting and data integration. Contribute and participate in discussions with implementation of metadata tools for EDW (business glossary, data lineage). Perform design implementation and support of Enterprise Data Management (EDM) and data structures within all layers of Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) environment. Support offshore resources to drive data projects end to end. Requires a Bachelor's degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Electronics Engineering, or an IT related field. Plus 8 years' experience in Senior Software Engineer or in a role/capacity engaged in data warehousing, data integration, and data analytics domain.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

4 years of experience in PL/SQL, Python, PySpark, and Shell scripting.

4 years of experience in software development using waterfall and Agile methodologies.

4 years of experience with software development tools (Real-time and batch data integration, Informatica PowerCenter, IICS, IDQ, and Erwin).

4 years of experience completing software development projects (Enterprise Data Marts, Data Processing pipelines, Real-time data ingestion, and data analytics).

2 years of experience utilizing cloud-based platform Databricks and services with AWS.

2 years of experience leading technical projects and teams.

4 years of experience using Informatica, data quality, and data lineage.

4 years of experience designing data warehouses for metrics driven Business Intelligence and reporting.

6 years of experience with and technical knowledge of Data Warehouse Architecture, ETL, Oracle, and Teradata Server databases.
