Job Description: Analytical Mechanics Associates, Inc. (AMA) has an exciting opportunity for an experienced accountant to serve as a Financial Analyst supporting NASA at the Langley Research Center (LaRC) in Hampton, VA. Accounting experience in, or with, the federal government is a must, as is proven experience developing consolidated reports and analyses utilizing large data sets from multiple sources. Working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, the Financial Analyst will support the execution of various financial business processes related to planning, estimating, tracking, analysis and reporting for multiple projects of varying contract type, size, complexity, and level of risk. This individual will have a comprehensive understanding of accounting principles, finance concepts, practices and standards as well as knowledge of government industry practices. Duties will be performed on-site at NASA Langley Research Center (LaRC) or at the AMA corporate office in Hampton, VA. Candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance from NASA LaRC and AMA headquarters in Hampton, VA at their date of hire. Responsibilities:
