Would you like to utilize your educational science background and work experience in a newly created position for an associate level clinical science role in oncology supporting an exciting Oncology program? If so, this could be an excellent opportunity to explore.

As Associate Director/Manager Clinical Development / Clinical Scientist, you will collaborate on an experienced cross functional study team to finish accrual on a first in human study. Additionally, you will work across 2 other phase 3 studies with director level clinical science leads on our team that are currently starting new studies. This is a role for which you will bring your science knowledge, your life science experience and be mentored to grow your skill set in oncology clinical research. Oncology experience is required.

This role will be based out of Collegeville PA or Waltham MA sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strong concise communication skills with strong EQ.

  • The ability to collaborate cross functionally with a can-do attitude on task driven applications with the desire to learn.

  • Provide oversight of study conduct working closely with an internal operational study lead and a contract research organizational team.

  • Ability to or desire to learn how to clean data and those objectives.

  • Contribute to abstract development content for submission to congress.

  • Ensure delivery of quality study strategy and design, understand the analysis and interpretation of data throughout the study with guidance.

  • Understand the asset's biological mechanism and clinical strategy. Desire to read and understand scientific literature on competitive landscape and disease.

  • Desire to learn and to provide input into and reviews of other relevant study documents including but not limited to, the informed consent (ICF), protocol, and protocol deviation management plan (PDMP), study reference manual (SRM), as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • Bachelors in Life Science degree or specialty degrees such as nursing, pharmacy, physical or occupational therapy, clinical research associate, study coordinator, clinical research assistant with proven clinical background experience.

  • 3+ years of pharmaceutical industry or relevant clinical experience (such as nursing, pharmacy, physical therapy, clinical research associate or assistant with a strong science background/degree) in an oncology environment.

  • Experience collaborating on cross functional teams/care teams.

  • Experience or understanding of clinical research, ICFs, protocol utilized to conduct clinical research.

  • Experience working with investigational brochures, prescribing labels, document management.

  • Experience working with Good Clinical Practice Guidelines for pharmaceutical clinical research.

Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • Bachelors in a specialty career such as nursing or Advanced degree (e.g. MS, PhD, PharmD) or equivalent experience

  • Oncology exposure/experience is a plus.

  • Basic understanding of regulatory implications within pharmaceutical clinical research.

  • Basic understanding of safety management for patients in clinical research.
