Position Salary Range $18-25 hourly
General Responsibilities
The Howard Community College Athletic Facilities Rental Associate is essential to the day-to-day operations of the student athlete, internal users, and external renters of the athletic facility. The athletic facilities rental associate will be welcoming, courteous and helpful while providing customer service to Howard Community College students, faculty, staff and external renters. The athletic facilities rental associate will answer phone calls, perform walkthroughs, report incidents and be the point of contact for external renters. The athletic facilities rental associate will also assist in gameday operations for athletic events held by the Howard Community College Athletic department.
Work Performed
1. Follow opening and/or closing procedures of the athletic facilities
2. Assist in set-up and break down of events and games
3. Be on site for events and games
4. Oversee federal work study students
5. Report incidents as needed
6. Conduct walkthroughs with renters before events
7. Conduct periodic walkthroughs to monitor facilities during events and games
8. Submit facility work orders
9. Perform various other duties and tasks as assigned
Minimum Education Required High School or equivalent
Minimum Number of Years Experience Required
Other Knowledge Required
1. Must be 21 years of age or older
2. Must be punctual
3. CPR/ AED Certification
4. Strong work ethic
5. Strong motivator
6. Strong organization skills
7. Must pass a background screening.
