The Disability Resource Assistant at the University of Minnesota Rochester (UMR) is responsible for supporting the Disability Resource Center (DRC). This includes working one on one with a team member to proofread and edit a variety of correspondence and documents related to disability resources to ensure correct spelling, grammar, punctuation, syntax, and style, as well as sending out communication from the DRC office. Our ideal candidate is strategic in presenting and supporting ideas to engage students in development activities on an ongoing basis and meticulous in reviewing copy, noting errors related to punctuation, spelling, accuracy, and word usage. This position reports to the Disability Resources Coordinator. This position works in-person in Rochester, MN. This role is not eligible for H-1B or Green Card sponsorship.
