*Job Title: *PACS Manager
*Location: *Remote, 20% travel when needed for meetings and events, expenses covered *Length:* 3-Month Contract-to-Hire (CTH) | Direct Placement candidates also considered *Type: *Full-time hours, must be able to work on a W2 *Role Overview:* We are seeking a seasoned PACS Manager to lead a high-impact, enterprise-wide PACS consolidation initiative. This role will be instrumental in transitioning from five disparate PACS environments to a single, unified Sectra platform supporting over 2 million imaging studies. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical knowledge with strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills to ensure a seamless and successful transformation. *Key Responsibilities:* * *Strategic Leadership:* Direct the planning, execution, and optimization of the PACS consolidation across multiple hospitals and service lines. * *Stakeholder Engagement:* Partner with Radiology, IT, Clinical Operations, and vendors to align goals, manage expectations, and ensure clinical readiness. * *Project Oversight: *Manage project timelines, resource planning, risk mitigation, and change management to meet critical milestones. * *System Integration & Optimization:* Oversee data migration, interface development, and workflow redesign for the transition to Sectra PACS. * *Operational Excellence: *Establish governance structures, performance metrics, and long-term support models for the new enterprise PACS. * *Team Leadership:* Mentor and guide PACS analysts, imaging informatics staff, and cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle. *Experience:* * Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in PACS administration or imaging informatics * Proven success leading large-scale PACS consolidation or migration projects * Experience managing 1M+ imaging studies in a multi-site health system * Strong collaboration history with Radiology and clinical leadership *Technical Skills:* * In-depth knowledge of Sectra PACS (preferred) or similar enterprise imaging platforms * Familiarity with DICOM, HL7, IHE standards, and integration with RIS/EHR systems * Understanding of data governance, cybersecurity, and imaging data lifecycle *Leadership & Communication:* * Exceptional project management, communication, and change leadership skills *Preferred Qualifications* * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Health Informatics, Radiologic Technology, IT, or related field * Certification in Imaging Informatics (CIIP) or Project Management (PMP) * Experience in a large IDN or academic medical center environment *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $80.00/hr.
