TEKsystems is currently seeking a Desktop Engineer with 7+ years of experience in enterprise desktop engineering, with a strong emphasis on Tanium for desktop application packaging, PowerShell scripting, Microsoft Intune, and SCCM. This role will focus on designing, packaging, deploying, and managing the lifecycle of enterprise applications, with a critical focus on leveraging Tanium for automation and compliance. NO C2C - MUST WORK W2 Hybrid Onsite 3 days a week in Irving, TX Top Skills: * Expertise in Tanium, particularly in application packaging, deployment, and compliance monitoring. * Proven experience with PowerShell scripting in enterprise environments. * Strong understanding of Windows OS, hardware platforms, and Active Directory. * Experience with Microsoft Intune and SCCM for device and application management. * Ability to lead initiatives and drive technical direction in desktop engineering. Key Responsibilities: * Engineer and maintain enterprise desktop applications using Tanium, ensuring efficient packaging, deployment, and compliance. * Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate application lifecycle processes. * Utilize Microsoft Intune and SCCM for modern device management and policy enforcement. * Create and maintain technical documentation for application packaging and deployment strategies. * Design and implement solutions for both on-premise and cloud-based environments. * Collaborate with internal teams to develop a sustainable patching and update methodology. * Ensure all engineering solutions comply with security and compliance standards. * Support legacy integrations, macros, and add-ins as needed. * Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to share best practices. * Work closely with service and product managers to define and document service requirements. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $60.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
