Production Assembler

The primary mission of the Production Assembler is to support various work centers, including electronics, pumps final, shipping/receiving and cleanroom operations, to ensure seamless production flow and high-quality output. The Production Assembler will primarily build and assemble controllers, cables and ion pumps using engineered drawings and documented requirements. The production assembler is required to meet the build standard as defined in the assembly procedures and maintain a continuous throughput in their area of responsibility

Main Responsibilities:

1. Assemble and build controllers, cables and ion pumps in line with the daily production plan - focusing on quality and output targets.
2. Maintain a safe and clean work area.
3. Follows assembly instructions and procedures to meet output quality requirements.
4. Support the training of team members and collaborate to drive improvement and efficiency.
5. Maintaining a good working relationship with department colleagues and the supporting departments.
6. Communicate and seek guidance where there are errors or difficulty in build.
7. Perform quality work checks to ensure the assembly meets quality standards.

Education/Skills

• High School diploma or equivalent / associated experience.
• Knowledge and experience of the principles of electrical or mechanical component constructions and assembly. Dependent on assigned area.
• Ability to read and interpret engineered drawings and diagrams.
• Experience with hand tools and small power tools.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
