This role is part of Alcon's Manufacturing function, a team that designs, produces and delivers innovative eyecare products to more than 140 countries through operational excellence and efficiency.
The Operator III, Production Technical Operations (Para-Professional & Support Path), is primarily responsible for handling complex tasks in production operations, including equipment setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. You will manage resources, monitor quality, and ensure adherence to procedures. Specifics include: In this role, a typical day will include:
Monitoring, evaluating, and adjusting processes or packaging equipment to maximize quality and efficiency Operating equipment that packages materials or products by inserting them into containers or filling containers from spouts or chutes Completing the batch records and associated documentation Working in a coordinated, computerized manufacturing environment Performing tasks per applicable safety guidelines, as well as appropriate processing standards and ensuring tasks are completed in compliance with all regulatory requirements May participate in program or functional team projects developing process improvement methods, solutions, and procedures to improve program quality, cost, and scheduling - Adhere to Good Practice (GxP) regulations by following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintaining accurate documentation
- Ensure rigorous quality control, complete all required training, and commit to continuous improvement and regulatory compliance

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
Previous machine operator experience is highly preferred Being capable of lifting up to 20 lbs. Being able to work overtime and on weekends if needed Ability to collaborate in team enviorment
