The Machine Operator has a focus on machining components for all manufacturing operations. Machines a wide variety of parts that make up the various products we offer in the marketplace.
* Operate machines and power equipment according to specific instructions for those machines power equipment. * Manually set up each machine or pull up the computer program in the case of CNC equipment for parts production. * Run material through the machines checking for accuracy and quality. * Perform timely and regular calibrations and perform preventive maintenance on machines you are responsible for. * Insure that the correct materials are being used for each product component. * Identify and use correct tooling to perform each operation. * Help ensure that 5S for the area are met. * Participate in continuous improvement activities. * Perform other duties as assigned. * Support the Quality Policy and Safety Policy. * Support the Vision and Guiding Principles of Kimball International and the facility Priorities of Focus and management policies. | |
