Job Purpose

The IT Manager, SAP COE Operations will be responsible for leading SAP Production and Planning workstream for SAP Deployments, Organizational changes, Improvements and Support.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute mid-term (1-2 years) and long-term (3-5 years) Strategy in cooperation with SAP Release Lead
  • Support the SAP Production and Planning Module with the use, optimization, and configuration of SAP
  • Develop and maintains good working relationships with customers and partners
  • Improve efficiency implementing innovations and automations
  • Participate in future implementations within our Dana Facilities
  • Define and gather requirements for enhancements and implementations within the Production and Planning Module
  • Ensure all system processes, customizations, and configurations meet quality standards
  • Work with developers and technical staff to implement functional specifications and resolve any issues
  • Ensure issues are identified, tracked, reported, and resolved in a timely manner
  • Lead and develop a strong team



Education



  • Bachelor's Degree in a business or technical discipline required or may consider equivalent 8+ years related professional experience
  • Master's Degree a plus
  • 7+ years related professional experience
  • English (fluency in reading, writing and speaking)



Experience requirements include working with and/or facilitates:



  • Project methodology
  • Developing process models
  • Developing functional specifications of new processes, data, and physical environment
  • Developing functional integration test specifications, conducting test and conducting customer acceptance test
  • Working with all types of business processes, understanding the components of each business process and how various business processes integrate
  • Identifying critical issues with ease



Experience in the following functional areas:



  • Discrete manufacturing
  • MES System integration
  • Material Master
  • Capacity Planning
  • MRP
  • RF Scanners
  • Fiori Applications
  • Knowledge within Inventory Management and Warehouse Management a Plus
