Job Description
Primary Purpose The Maintenance Planner plans and schedules all the maintenance in the facilities to include PM's, scheduled work, and unscheduled outages. Collaboration with maintenance and operations is key to the success of the facility and effective communication is must. Provides management for all planning and scheduling for routine and non-routine work. Manages KPI's and provide monthly status reports against the Maintenance Work Process. Works closely with other SI affiliates ensuring there are no SIMOPS issues for successful outages. Responsible for collaborating with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and Warehouse for maintenance activities ensuring the work scheduled to be performed is accurate and completed in an acceptable time frame.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement maintenance plans, work orders, and schedules, taking into account regulatory compliance, safety standards, and operational needs.
- Manage materials, labor, and outside vendor services to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks while minimizing costs.
- Identify root causes of issues, propose solutions, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Ensure daily continuous improvement techniques are being applied through routine meeting cadences. Responsible for driving day on day improvements on how we plan and schedule as well as improve our maintenance work practices.
- Track and analyze maintenance activities, identify areas for improvement, and develop KPIs to measure performance.
- Drive the optimization of work planning, scheduling and use of the SAP system in conjunction with the Continuous Improvement Lead.
- Prioritize work orders based on the work to be performed and the associated risk. Ensures accurate, achievable completion dates are a key focus.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Engineering, or other related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3+ years' experience in related planning/scheduling role or in a pipeline operations environment.
- Possess extensive knowledge in implementing best practices for planning, scheduling, and maintenance.
- Valid Driver's License or reliable mode of transportation.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of SAP Intermediate
- Possess analytical thinking and ability to utilize concise data and information while working through problems and implementing solutions. Advanced
- Possess extensive knowledge and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, i.e. Word, Excel, PPT, to convey information with clarity through presentations and reports. Advanced
- Possess experience in managing and mitigating maintenance risks. Advanced
- Possess strong working knowledge and understanding of how to read and interpret P&IDs Advanced
- Possess the ability to manage multiple and complex issues and work independently. Intermediate
- Understanding of the maintenance work management process and systems. Intermediate
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years' experience with planning/scheduling in SAP.
- 5+ years' experience in pipeline operations.
Work Schedule
HYBRID: Work a combination of onsite and remote days each week, typically 3 days per week onsite.
