Position Overview: The Treasury Solutions Leader is responsible for maintaining Team Collaboration between the Treasury Solutions (TS) Sales and Operations teams. The TS Sales Team focuses on delivering tailored treasury solutions to commercial clients and prospective clients, addressing complex business needs through effective consultative sales strategies. This role directly manages TS Sales personnel to achieve team revenue targets. The TS Operations Team supports daily client servicing, product implementations, and operational processes for customers and internal partners. The Treasury Solutions Leader will foster a proactive referral network, support product development, and lead initiatives in product training and partner development, contributing to the bank's strategic treasury solution goals. Essential Functions:
- Drive the growth of TS revenue by setting and achieving sales goals through active oversight of the TS Sales Team. Engage directly in client and prospect outreach to build lasting relationships.
- Assist with providing strategic direction to the Treasury Solutions Operations Team, which includes customer service and wire transfer functions, ensuring timely and accurate service delivery.
- Define and execute TS product strategies, marketing plans, and operational improvements to enhance client satisfaction and streamline processes.
- Set performance goals, conduct regular evaluations, manage budget targets, and coach team members to optimize business development skills and operational efficiency.
- Oversee ACH Origination and Remote Deposit Capture operations, including managing exposure limits, approval, and renewal processes to ensure compliance and minimize risk.
- Collaborate with Product Management to monitor competitor offerings, pricing trends, and market demands. Recommend new service offerings and adjustments based on client needs and growth opportunities.
- Help lead the development and execution of the bank's payments strategy, identifying opportunities to enhance existing offerings and introduce innovative solutions to meet evolving client needs and market trends.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product development, technology, sales, and risk teams to design, implement, and optimize a comprehensive suite of payments products and services, ensuring seamless integration and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with bank relationship managers and other departments to maintain strong client relationships, serving as a liaison between TS Sales, Operations, and bank-wide teams.
- Ensure accurate use of CRM systems to document activities, sales pipelines, and referrals. Oversee monthly executive reporting on TS performance and ensure visibility of these metrics among stakeholders.
- Lead product implementation and training sessions for clients, ensuring a high-quality onboarding experience and smooth transition to TS products.
- Champion TS training for bank personnel, enabling cross-departmental knowledge of treasury solutions. Foster a comprehensive understanding of the bank's full product portfolio to enhance client offerings.
- Develop, maintain, and monitor procedures, policies, and systems within TS to ensure product integrity, regulatory compliance, and alignment with internal audit requirements.
- Stay informed of technological advancements and emerging trends in treasury solutions by participating in industry events, trade associations, and professional development opportunities.
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned to support TS goals and overall bank strategy.
- This position may require travel within the Bank's geographic area.
Experience & Education:
- 10 years in TS sales, with proven success in sales growth and client service excellence.
At least 5 years in bank operations or TS operations. - Prior experience in bank product management or development is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation is required.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years in a direct management role, ideally leading a TS Sales team.
- Demonstrated success in working jointly with cross-functional teams to achieve goals.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to articulate product solutions.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM platforms; familiarity with treasury systems is a plus.
- Ability to analyze and interpret market data, competitor products, and internal performance metrics to drive strategic decisions.
- Proven ability to maintain and strengthen client relationships through consultative selling and solutions-oriented service.
- Thorough understanding of treasury management products and related regulatory requirements.
- Strong business development skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue goals.
- Aptitude for identifying growth opportunities, with a solid grasp of industry trends.
