Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized, award-winning professional services consulting firm, is experiencing unprecedented growth, and we have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Monitoring Based Commissioning Provider to join our team. This position will be a hybrid position, reporting to our office in Denver, CO.

The primary responsibility is to oversee the entire building commissioning process, ensuring all systems within a building function according to the original design, leading to optimized energy efficiency, reduced maintenance costs, and improved indoor air quality.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conduct and coordinate monitoring-based commissioning activities in a sequential and efficient manner using consistent protocols, clear and regular communications
  • Manage client communication regarding project status and scope of services
  • Training / Mentoring of Junior staff on the development and deployment of Skyspark
  • Complete tasks required for LEED, ASHRAE, Title 24, code and other green building rating system monitoring based commissioning services for new and existing buildings.
  • Complete work on re- and retro-commissioning projects
  • Prepare and provide written monitoring reports and findings with recommended actions to the Contractor, the A/E Design Team, the Owner and the Owner's Representative and other necessary representatives.
  • Participate in design and construction meetings to identify design intent, and compliance with established criteria.
  • Review and suggest additional scope of work needs
  • Manage project profit and schedules
  • Business Development with internal and external Mead and Hunt clients
  • Develop rules, dashboards, analytics, standards and protocols for Skyspark
  • Travel will be required for this position

The successful candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in mechanical engineering, computer science, or physics AND Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience

OR

  • If no degree, 7 years of relevant experience AND BCxA, ASHRAE, or ACG commissioning related credentials

The ideal candidate will have any/all of the following:

  • Experience managing multiple projects at the same time
  • Experience with monitor-based commissioning (SkySpark)
  • Client management experience
  • Business development experience
  • Energy audit and calculation experience
  • Programing experience
  • Commissioning experience

Salary Range: $95,000 - $120,000 - Actual compensation may vary due to other factors such as: experience, skill set or location.
