The Director, a member of the Client Success leadership team, in the Progyny organization for our Labor (union and public sector) book of business. This position will be responsible for working with our labor groups and their consultants and brokers to maintain exemplary service and creating value, loyalty, satisfaction, and retention. This role also entails supporting the evolution of Progyny's labor market client success team while delivering on KPIs including client retention goals, advocacy goals, and driving revenue goals from upsells and expansions with existing labor market groups.

What you'll do...

Client Success

  • Establish, cultivate, and manage the plan-client relationship at multiple levels, serving as a healthcare consultant and trusted business advisor

  • Build relationships with key plan-client stakeholders (e.g. fund administrators, trustees etc.), consultants, and brokers, recognizing the value each brings to plan

  • Prepare, host and follow-up on quarterly business reviews and an annual planning session with the Board of Trustees

  • Create and execute on the strategic retention and growth plan for each assigned group

  • Must be able to seamlessly articulate Progyny's value to professionals, executives, strategic partners at both plan and channel partners; understand and articulate a data-driven financial model to support renewals, refine our quarterly and annual reports to best meet client needs

  • Help resolve member abrasions that are escalated; work closely with other senior leaders to identify the root of the escalation and the best path to resolve

About you ...

  • 10+ years of Taft Hartley experience successfully leading teams within healthcare, plan benefits or insurance industries

  • Proven track record of working with senior-level executives for client relationship management and consultation within health care benefits segment

  • Excellent listening, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent messaging, positioning and communication skills

  • Project management skills - identify a goal and the steps needed; actively manage action steps to accomplish goal

  • Strong business and financial acumen; strong problem-solving, judgment and analytic skills

  • Prior success in a fast-growing organization or managing through transformational change

In compliance with New York City's Wage Transparency Law, the annual salary [wage] range for NYC-based applicants is: $150,000 - $160,000. There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. Progyny offers a total compensation package comprised of base salary, cash bonus, and equity.
