We are seeking an AI and Data Governance Senior Manager who will be responsible for establishing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive governance frameworks across EisnerAmper's AI transformation initiative. This is a highly strategic role where you will be operating from the EisnerAI Experience Center, this role ensures responsible AI deployment, acceptable data use across the entire AI development lifecycle, and compliance with regulatory requirements. The position serves as the primary liaison between senior executives and technical teams, translating governance requirements into actionable policies while maintaining the firm's commitment to ethical AI practices and professional standards.

What Work You Will be Responsible For:
  • Lead AI Governance Strategy: Drive firm-wide adoption of the NIST AI Risk Management Framework and develop strategic roadmaps for AI governance maturity.

  • Policy & Risk Management: Create and enforce AI/data governance policies, conduct lifecycle risk assessments, and oversee incident response for AI systems.

  • Regulatory Compliance & Privacy: Ensure alignment with regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) and implement data privacy, classification, and acceptable use frameworks.

  • Data Quality & Technical Controls: Establish data quality standards and technical controls (DLP, access, audit logging) to ensure reliable and secure AI operations.

  • Azure & Data Catalog Oversight: Administer Azure Purview and maintain comprehensive data catalogs with governance metadata and lineage tracking.

  • Executive Advisory & Reporting: Advise the Chief AI Officer and executiveleadership, and deliver governance dashboards, KPIs, and compliance insights.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration & Training: Lead AI governance councils and develop training programs for cross-functional teams, including Legal, Risk, and IT.

  • Vendor & Audit Management: Oversee governance for AI/ML vendors, support strategic AI decisions, and coordinate internal and external governance audits.

  • Best Practice Evolution: Stay current with evolving AI governance standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices

Basic Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required; 7+ years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of an advanced degree

  • Master's degree in Information Security, Data Science, Public Policy, Law, or a related field preferred

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in professional services (e.g., Big 4, consulting, or a similar environment)

  • At least 3 years of direct experience working with AI/ML technologies and their business applications

  • Demonstrated success in leading change management and training initiatives

Preferred/ Desired Skills
  • Service Line Knowledge: Deep understanding of Tax, Audit, Advisory, or Consulting workflows and pain points

  • Client Relationship Management: Experience in client-facing roles with ability to articulate complex technical concepts

  • Regulatory Compliance: Knowledge of professional standards (GAAP, IFRS, SOX, tax regulations)

  • Industry Trends: Understanding of professional services industry challenges and opportunities

  • Microsoft Azure AI: Practical experience with Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Services, and AI Foundry

  • Generative AI: Hands-on experience with GPT models, prompt engineering, and fine-tuning techniques

  • AI Platforms: Familiarity with enterprise AI platforms, chatbots, and automation tools

  • Data Analysis: Proficiency in data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) and basic statistical analysis

  • Documentation Tools: Experience with SharePoint, Confluence, or similar knowledge management systems

  • Communication Excellence: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for diverse audiences

  • Training & Facilitation: Proven ability to design and deliver engaging training programs and workshops

  • Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills with ability to break down complex business challenges

  • Adaptability: Comfort with rapid technological change and ability to learn new AI tools quickly

  • Collaboration: Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder relationships
