Responsibilities

Peraton is hiring a Growth Department Manager - Navy Mission Support. This position will be located in Reston, VA.

What you'll do:

    Lead strategic growth initiatives targeting Navy mission support programs across NAVAIR, NAVSEA, NAVSUP, NSWC, NWDC, and NCAMS.
  • Develop and maintain trusted relationships with senior Navy stakeholders, program managers, and acquisition leads.
  • Identify, qualify, and shape new business opportunities in the $50M-$100M range aligned with company capabilities and Navy priorities.
  • Drive capture strategies and lead proposal development efforts, including teaming, pricing, and win themes.
  • Collaborate with technical and delivery teams to align offerings with Navy mission needs in areas such as platform engineering, logistics, training, and modeling & simulation.
  • Monitor Navy budgets, acquisition forecasts, and contracting trends to inform pipeline development.
  • Responsible for the successful technical, schedule, and cost performance of a major program, or multiple programs, through subordinate program/project managers, in accordance with contract requirements and company policies, procedures and guidelines.
  • Develop and deliver required contract, departmental, project and/or financial reports.


Qualifications

16 years of experience, may have management experience

What you'll need:

  • Experience managing programs delivering Engineering Services in the areas of Platform Engineering, Training, Modeling and Simulations, and efficient Logistics
  • Proven track record of capturing large-scale ($50M+) Navy contracts.
  • Deep knowledge of Navy acquisition processes and mission priorities.
  • Established network within NAVAIR, NAVSEA, NAVSUP, NSWC, NWDC, and NCAMS.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related field
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Ability to obtain DoD Top Secret clearance

Target Salary Range

$146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
