MHS is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Health Services Staff Assistant Scheduler to join our expanding Medical Department. This full-time role is crucial to the efficient operation of our Health Services, focusing on administrative and scheduling support for clinic appointments, transportation coordination, and communication with staff and students' sponsors.

Key responsibilities:



  • Schedule and coordinate off-campus specialty clinic appointments for students
  • Organize student transportation (to & from) for medical appointments
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
  • Assist with front-desk duties and general clerical support
  • Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parent/sponsors
  • Ensure compliance with confidentiality and health/safety standards
  • Collaborate closely with the Health Services team to support student well-being


Location: On-site in Hershey, PA
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM (flexibility required)
Hourly Pay: $19.45 - $25.96 (commensurate with experience)

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 1+ year of experience in a medical office or healthcare setting
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and medical records
  • Current CPR/First Aid certification
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software systems
  • Valid PA Driver's License in good standing
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, leadership, and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries
  • A team-oriented mindset and ability to work independently
  • Candidates should demonstrate a high degree of integrity, as all MHS staff are role models for MHS students
  • Candidates should be willing to actively engage with students beyond the scope of their job responsibilities.
