Job Summary The Facilities Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all inbound and outbound shipments within the manufacturing facility, ensuring timely delivery of raw materials and efficient distribution of finished goods. This role also ensures the accuracy of on-hand inventory to support uninterrupted production operations. The position requires a strong focus on cost control, operational efficiency, quality assurance, and productivity. The ideal candidate will work closely with production, procurement, and warehouse teams to optimize supply chain performance and support the company's manufacturing goals. Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Overseas and supervises the processes of receiving and dispatching goods from the warehouse
- Leads the work of others, delegates work and supervises their performance
- Staffs, develops, and coaches the distribution, receiving, and inventory control management team, evaluates performance, and initiates corrective action as required
- Ensures that all plant assets are properly managed and safeguarded
- Maintains records of the entire inventory stock, and manages regular cycle counts.
- Ensures compliance with legal processes and documentation of inbound and outbound goods
- Inspects and maintains the quality and standards of goods and supplies
- Develops and/or approves the master distribution schedule, and shipping schedule and coordinates activities between shifts and other functions
- Establishes quality standards for operations and initiates and manages quality improvement initiatives
- Manages raw material, in-process, and finished goods inventories and coordinates inventory requirements with purchasing sales consistent with inventory levels/turnover goals
- Responsible for ensuring the facility meets Company conditions and is laid out for efficient operations
- Develops and implements specific plant policies and procedures as required
- Ensures that plant operations are consistent with Company and OSHA policies, practices, and procedures
- Ensures that operations conform to Company, Federal, State, and local laws, rules, and regulations
- Analyze logistics and inventory data to support continuous improvement initiatives. Improve logistics workflows to reduce waste and increase efficiency.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of experience in management or related areas
- Familiar with industry and Company standard practices and procedures
