Lumen Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect to join our Pre-Sales Solution Engineering team to help our customers define the next generation of optical and amplification architectures needed for unlocking maximum value from their fiber investments in support of accelerating AI demand. This role will support hyperscaler, cloud, and technology companies as they expand their networks to meet the demands of AI-driven architectures. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in optical architectures, fiber planning and installation, and the space, power, and cooling requirements critical to ILA and micro edge data center solutions. As a Solution Architect, you will collaborate with sales, product, and engineering teams to develop tailored solutions, provide pre-sales technical support, and drive innovation to position Lumen as a leader in next-generation network infrastructure. Location and Schedule
This is a Work From Home position available from any US-based location. Schedule is typically daytime business though flexibility is required depending on business and customer needs. This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors. Location Based Pay Ranges: $115,763 - $154,350 in these states: AL, AR, AZ, FL, GA, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, ME, MO, MS, MT, ND, NE, NM, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, UT, VT, WI, WV, and WY.
