Position Summary:
The Audiology Clinic Manager performs advanced audiological diagnosis, case coordination, and treatment for a wide variety of pediatric patients, including those with complex and multi-handicapped conditions. This role provides clinical supervision, serves as a mentor to audiology staff, and manages the day-to-day operations of the Audiology Clinic. Responsibilities include oversight of scheduling, patient flow, quality improvement initiatives, equipment management, and contributing to key personnel decisions such as hiring, evaluations, and promotion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivers comprehensive audiological services and oversees care coordination for patients with diverse and complex needs, including counseling families, fitting hearing technology, and guiding interdisciplinary follow-up.
  • Manages clinic operations including patient scheduling, staff coverage, workflow optimization, quality improvement planning, and equipment maintenance and procurement.
  • Provides leadership and supervision to audiology staff, including performance evaluations, onboarding, clinical training, and input on staffing needs, promotions, and hiring decisions.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education:

  • Doctoral Degree in Audiology required

Area of Study:

  • Audiology

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible and specialized clinical experience, including management of pediatric audiological programs within a clinical service

Licensure/Certification:

  • Current Massachusetts license in Audiology required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, or Board Certification from the American Board of Audiology required
