Job Summary BASIC FUNCTION:
This position is responsible for constructing analytic solutions that support Medical Drug, including preferred drug strategies, provider/facility reimbursements, site of care, clinical solutions, forecasts, recommendations and strategic/tactical plans based on business data and market knowledge. Conducts analysis to surface insights on Medical Drug spend and tracks financial and stakeholder impact from Medical Drug initiatives, pushing to output that informs decision-making. Creates output to support monitoring and reporting of performance across Medical Drug - including financial, operational, and sales performance metrics.
Creates specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs and required or available data elements. May provide consultation to users and lead cross-functional teams to address business issues. Produces datasets and reports for analysis using system reporting tools. May perform research and assists in analyzing financial and health data, including medical algorithms to determine health care expenditures, medical and economic outcomes, and cost containment strategies. Analyzes complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers. Identifies and interprets trends and patterns in datasets to locate influences.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree and 7 years' experience in health care services, insurance industry economics or quantitative/statistical analysis including 4 years' experience in data analysis and information reporting relating to healthcare/wellness data, including pharmacy OR 10 years' experience in health care services, insurance industry economics or quantitative/statistical analysis including 4 years' experience in data analysis and information reporting relating to healthcare/wellness data, including pharmacy.

  • Anticipates internal and or external business challenges and/or regulatory issues; recommends process, product or service improvements

  • Solves unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on the business

  • Contributes to the development of functional strategy related to Medical Drug

  • Leads project teams to achieve milestones and objectives

  • Progression to this level is typically restricted on the basis of business requirements

Preferred Requirements:

  • Advanced Degree in Analytics, Applied Sciences, Mathematics or quantitative field.

  • Medical Drug Claims experience.

  • Tableau & SQL experience.

Our flexible/Hybrid schedule allows 3 days reporting into the office each week and 2 days working from home.

The compensation offered will vary depending on your job-related skills, education, knowledge, and experience. This role aligns with an annual incentive bonus plansubject to the terms and the conditions of the plan.
