About the Role

The Director, Product Management, MarTech is responsible for defining and executing the vision for BetMGM's CRM and rewards delivery platforms. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in B2C marketing execution (with special consideration given to candidates with gaming experience) and have a background in building the capabilities and processes that enable marketers to seamlessly deliver sophisticated marketing campaigns and reward programs at scale. They will lead initiatives that modernize how we communicate with and reward players and they will be tasked with improving operational efficiencies and increasing marketing efficacy, while contributing to a best-in-class player experience across all marketing touchpoints.

The Director will act as a critical bridge between product, technology, business and data teams. They will own the intake and prioritization framework that governs how BetMGM MarTech resources are deployed. This person will need to drive MartTech projects through delivery, ensuring that they meet the expectations and needs of BetMGM's marketing team while also enhancing the player experience.

The ideal candidate is an individual who is passionate about driving continuous improvement and has experience in leveraging cutting-edge marketing technologies to boost efficiencies and support the company's business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and communicate a clear MarTech platform product vision and strategy in alignment with key stakeholders

  • Partner with key stakeholders across the company to identify platform improvements leading to operational efficiency and increased revenue

  • Ensure marketing technology is easy to use, effective and reliable, and ensure our tools are adopted, used and leveraged by our marketing stakeholders

  • Contribute through entire software development lifecycle including backlog prioritization, user acceptance testing and product issue triaging ensuring a high-quality user experience.

  • Lead the evaluation, implementation and ongoing management of MarTech and messaging partners, including helping with build vs. buy decisions

  • Champion the use of data, analytics and customer segmentation to optimize marketing and messaging performance

  • Partner with our data team to maintain a robust data infrastructure for seamless collection, organization, and analysis of customer data across all platforms and channels

  • Help develop a culture of experimentation by enabling our marketing and product teams to easily test, learn and optimize

  • Continuously explore new tools and technologies to ensure we are adopting cutting edge technology to improve our marketing and messaging capabilities

Essential Functions

  • Must be able to stand or sit and operate computers and other technological devices for extended periods of time

Qualifications

  • Experience:10+ years in marketing technology, data analytics, or marketing operations, particularly focused on gaming

  • Expertise: Hands-on experience with marketing technology platforms (experience with Optimove and Salesforce a plus), customer data platforms (CDPs), customer journey orchestration tools, marketing automation and CRM platforms with a focus on utilizing large consumer datasets to drive personalized customer experiences

  • Data Analytics: Strong background in data analytics, data warehousing, and business intelligence, with proven experience in building data pipelines and applying customer insights to drive marketing outcomes

  • Digital Marketing: Strong understanding of digital communication channels (e-mail, push, in-app messaging)

  • Technical Skills:Familiarity with data management platforms, API integrations, real time data pipelines and cloud technologies, with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams

  • Cross-Functional Skills:Comfortable in a matrixed environment, with proven ability to partner across Product, Growth, Data Science, and Engineering teams to integrate and optimize solutions

  • Project Management:Proven ability to lead projects, manage vendors, and oversee the development of complex solutions in a fast-paced environment

  • Communication: Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable marketing insights for cross-functional teams and executive leadership

The annual salary range for this position is $164,000 to $215,250. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for participation in a performance-based bonus plan.

Gaming Compliance & Licensing Requirements

As an online gaming company, BetMGM is required to comply with state gaming regulations which includes licensing obligations. Applicable employees must be licensed by at least one jurisdictional agency, although certain positions require licensing by multiple agencies. Failure to become licensed or maintain licensure with each agency as required for the role may result in termination of employment. Please note that the licensing process includes comprehensive background checks which may include a review of criminal records, financial history, and personal background verification.

In addition, candidates must comply with and support the company's responsible gambling policies, procedures and initiatives.

Applicable salary ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. The position is also eligible for an annual bonus.
