Equipment Pool Supervisor - Patient Care Equipment Pool -F/T, Day Shift

Reporting to the Director of Nursing Services, the Equipment Pool Supervisor is responsible for oversight of the operations of the Medical Center equipment pool. Duties include personnel administration including evaluation, training, timekeeping, counseling, and corrective action. Completes billing for patient chargeable items, as well as daily and monthly back-up using the MEMS system. Orders supply items, O2, disposable items, and rental equipment. Ensures inventory control of supply items through monitoring, generating RGMs, and work orders. Maintains records of hospital owned and rented equipment, employee files, and daily work sheets. Maintains responsibility for the layout of the transportation storage areas, researching and resolving customer issues, and maintaining the highest standard for customer service. Develops working relationships with the hospital, clinics, management, and supply vendors. In addition will take orders and deliver patient care equipment. track hospital and rental equipment for daily inventory. clean, set-up and perform basic repairs of equipment. and the deliver and pick-up of equipment and supplies to and from designated areas. A primary focus is on customer service and meeting customer requests and expectations. .
