Job Description

You will be responsible for the success of a primary healthcare packaging product portfolio. You will identify attractive growth segments, key customer positions, winning value propositions and develop product category tactical marketing plans to drive sustainable, profitable growth for your respective product categories. Product managers are results-based, focused on growth and will review performance on a monthly, quarterly and annual cadence to communicate their performance to plan.

While this role is focused on North American healthcare markets, Amcor is a global leader in healthcare packaging with the opportunity to collaborate with healthcare colleagues globally to drive innovation, launch global product platforms and service multi-national healthcare customers.

WHAT YOU GET TO DO

Marketing Product Manager II and Sr Marketing Product Manager - Differentiators
  • Develop and maintain key customer relationships beyond base level customer interactions facilitated by Sales. Build strong customer relationships and establish credibility to help cement Amcor as a supplier of choice within key customers
  • Facilitate cross-functional team discussions with operations, R&D, commercial and procurement to ensure awareness and alignment of key activities impacting key manufacturing sites
  • Serve as commercial lead for Healthcare Plant Profit teams to drive key actions with commercial teams in support of Plant Profit team efforts
  • Elevate profile and serve in a leadership role in the broader AFNA organization such as collaborating with AFNA product or marketing managers, participating in employee engagement organizations, or representing Amcor as a leader in industry organizations such as IOPP, SPMC, ASTM or others to highlight Healthcare's leadership within internal and external groups
  • Demonstrate willingness to mentor and coach junior members of the organization to improve that individual's knowledge of healthcare packaging and to improve bench-strength and engagement with future Marketing team members. May have formal or informal mentorship program with members of segment marketing, pricing, quality, process engineers, R&D, or integrated sales colleagues
  • Demonstrate business acumen and ability to articulate vision and clearly communicate product growth strategy, performance, and the commercial pipeline up and across the business unit
  • Has shown results and delivered on growth plan
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully work across other BU's and BGs in other regions

  • Minimum 7 years marketing, sales, operations or R&D experience
  • Bachelor's Degree, MBA preferred
  • Technical background preferred

CompensationThe starting salary for this position is expected to be between $108,700 to $135,900; however, base pay offered may vary within the full salary range $108,700 to $163,100 depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base pay information is based on national averages and a geographic differential may be applied based on work location. Position may also be eligible for Amcor's Management Incentive Plan / Sales Incentive Plan, which is an annual bonus program based on business and individual performance, as well as medical coverage and other health and welfare benefits.
