Production Associate

Overview:

Responsible for monitoring overall production cycle.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:



  • Performs cleaning duties. Sweeping and moping floor, and cleaning production area
  • Continuously meet efficiency and safety standards for the position
  • Complete quality testing as required and log all analysis properly on the respective pick slips
  • Monitor the efficiency of the production line to ensure timely load and shipment
  • Assemble and prepare goods for shipment
  • Complete quality assurance testing on goods and products
  • Maintain proper storage for material and product inventory in warehouses
  • Move materials or completed products and packages to established locations
  • Follow instructions as directed by supervision
  • Performs other job duties as assigned.


Ergonomic Conditions:



  • While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, bend, push/pull, use of material handling equipment, hand tools, loading and unloading and lifting up to 50
  • Exposure to dust, noise, oils, greases, hazardous materials and other debris.
  • Must have good hand eye coordination to use tools such as knives to cut cord and yarn.
  • Employee must wear steel toe shoes, work uniform and hair net for protection.


Qualifications:

Must be at least 18 years old

Education:



  • High school or equivalent (GED) degree.


Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities



  • Must demonstrate competency and proficiency in the following skills and/or abilities.
  • Product and Equipment Knowledge.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and employees.
