Under minimum direction, oversees all maintenance personnel ensuring their compliance with Stericycle's directives on safety and health, environmental and facility permit compliance, customer service, productivity, cost control, care of equipment, housekeeping, and recordkeeping. Manages the performance of all maintenance functions including, but not limited to, inspection, preventative, corrective and emergency maintenance activities on all equipment throughout the facility. Key Job Activities:
* Establish year over year improvements within an effective maintenance management system, reducing equipment failures and downtime in accordance with company goals. Identifies root cause, and develops corrective action plans for driving improvements. * Enforces proper equipment troubleshooting and maintenance of; boiler and steam systems, to include ancillary equipment such as; pressure control devices, boiler feed water, water treatment systems, air cooled condensers, R/O water systems, pressure vessels, fabric filter houses, sorbent and chemical injection systems, absorbers, pumps, fans, motors, natural gas fire burners, piping. Education:
Preferred Education: in Bachelor`s Degree or Engineering General Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering preferred, or 10-years of equivalent demonstrated progressive maintenance management experience. Certifications and/or Licenses:
Boiler, welding, or Electrical Certification
Instrumentation and Controls (I&C) certification Benefits:
