Danfoss is seeking a Global Marketing Communications Senior Manager for the Fluid Conveyance Division.

The primary aim of this role is to manage the planning, development and execution of strategic marketing and communications programs around the world to support the efficient and effective achievement of Fluid Conveyance goals. This highly-experienced professional will bring together the different marketing and communications teams around the globe and enable the successful team exxecution of internal and external marketing and communication stragegies that accelerate business growth, increase profitability and meet business objectives.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

Marketing - Drive profitable growth through effective go-to-market strategies, demand generation campaigns and customer experience enhancements.






    • Ensure a customer-centric marketing culture focused on building internal understanding of customer insights and enhancing customer experience
    • Lead the digital marketing strategy and customer facing user experience-interpreting business needs to generate requirements and collaborate with IT to deliver best-in-class digital experiences for target audiences
    • Lead the development of integrated marketing communications campaigns, promoting awareness and driving demand for products, services, new solutions and programs from Fluid Conveyance across the globe
    • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate investments and campaigns; measure and report on performance to maximize return on marketing investment (ROMI)
    • Work collaboratively with BU Product, Sales, and Channel Marketing teams to plan and implement strategies and measure the effectiveness of our investments
    • Enable the team to develop and deliver effective and cohesive sales-support tools to present Fluid Conveyance offerings for key target markets
    • Drive consistency in process and approach for demand generation and its related campaigns
    • Develop compelling messaging to build the effectiveness and impact of campaigns in key markets deployed around the world





Communications - Drive the effective development and execution of internal and external communications campaigns to best position the business across the world.






    • Provide strategic recommendations for the development and implementation of integrated communications plans to meet business objectives
    • Supports executive-level leadership in their communication strategies.
    • Monitor, track and report the public sentiment of our business
    • Proactively identify issues and potential crises. Develop and implement strategies for managing them and counsel business leaders through these situations

Basic Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, marketing or other relevant field is required
  • 10 years of progressive experience in communications and/or marketing
  • Ability to work in the United States without company sponsorship



Preferred Criteria:



  • Master's degree in communications, journalism, marketing or other relevant field is preferred
  • Responsibilities in internal and external communications working in a corporation or via a combination of agency and corporate experience
  • Professional certifications (i.e. Change Management, Marketing or Communications accreditation, etc.)
