What We Need: We are looking for a Senior Manager, MCR Business Partner, to join our HNI Workplace Furnishings team. TheSenior Manager, MCR Business Partner,serves as a strategic human resources business partner and trusted advisor. This role is responsible for aligning MCR initiatives with business priorities, particularly within the WPF Commercial organization-while fostering a high-performing, member-focused team. The ideal candidate brings a strategic mindset, strong HR acumen, and a passion for organizational excellence. What You Will Do: Develop and execute integrated MCR strategies aligned with the company's long-term business objectives. Lead strategic workforce planning, prioritization, and budget management to support a dynamic and evolving organization. Serve as a trusted advisor and partner to senior leaders across Sales, Marketing, and other commercial functions, delivering agile and data-informed HR solutions that drive growth and leadership effectiveness. Build and develop a high-performing MCR team that delivers consistent and strategic consultation across a matrixed, multi-location environment. Collaborate across the MCR network of HNI to ensure cohesive execution of MCR initiatives. Drive a holistic talent management strategy focused on performance development, succession planning, retention, and workforce optimization. Promote and support a culture of engagement, inclusion, and community involvement. Ensure implementation of MCR policies and practices across the WPF Commercial organization, maintaining fair and consistent employee relations practices. Leverage internal and external data analytics to proactively assess talent trends, risks, and opportunities and use problem-solving skills to address challenges. Perform additional responsibilities as required to meet business and MCR objectives. What You Have: Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field preferred, Master's degree preferred. Professional HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP/SCP) preferred. At least 6 years of experience as an HR professional and/or proven leadership role with capabilities within a fast-paced team setting required; 8 years of experience preferred.
