What We Need:
We are looking for a Senior Manager, MCR Business Partner, to join our HNI Workplace Furnishings team.
TheSenior Manager, MCR Business Partner,serves as a strategic human resources business partner and trusted advisor. This role is responsible for aligning MCR initiatives with business priorities, particularly within the WPF Commercial organization-while fostering a high-performing, member-focused team. The ideal candidate brings a strategic mindset, strong HR acumen, and a passion for organizational excellence.
What You Will Do:
  • Develop and execute integrated MCR strategies aligned with the company's long-term business objectives.
  • Lead strategic workforce planning, prioritization, and budget management to support a dynamic and evolving organization.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and partner to senior leaders across Sales, Marketing, and other commercial functions, delivering agile and data-informed HR solutions that drive growth and leadership effectiveness.
  • Build and develop a high-performing MCR team that delivers consistent and strategic consultation across a matrixed, multi-location environment.
  • Collaborate across the MCR network of HNI to ensure cohesive execution of MCR initiatives.
  • Drive a holistic talent management strategy focused on performance development, succession planning, retention, and workforce optimization.
  • Promote and support a culture of engagement, inclusion, and community involvement.
  • Ensure implementation of MCR policies and practices across the WPF Commercial organization, maintaining fair and consistent employee relations practices.
  • Leverage internal and external data analytics to proactively assess talent trends, risks, and opportunities and use problem-solving skills to address challenges.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as required to meet business and MCR objectives.
What You Have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field preferred, Master's degree preferred.
  • Professional HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP/SCP) preferred.
  • At least 6 years of experience as an HR professional and/or proven leadership role with capabilities within a fast-paced team setting required; 8 years of experience preferred.
