Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Director of Supportive Care perform diversified duties including, but not limited to, coordination of all volunteer services for Hospice and Palliative Programs, manage the day-to-day operations of the department and Volunteer assistants. Oversight and maintenance of all required volunteer documentation and reports, the recruitment, screening and training of volunteers and participation in fundraising, hospice and related community events.


Qualifications

  • A Bachelors Degree in a related field (e.g. job-related education preparation) or the equivalent knowledge and experience are required.
  • Minimum of one to three years of progressively responsible experience in related field is required.
  • Must possess public speaking experience and the ability to effectively manage group meetings.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Requires proficient computer skills, including experience with various software (MS Office Suite and Outlook) and database programs.
  • Must possess and demonstrate highly effective interpersonal, customer service and communication skills with all stakeholders of the organization.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired

Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.



Pay Range

USD $54,038.40 - USD $90,833.60 /Yr.
