Manhattan Strategy Group (MSG), a leading management consulting firm, is seeking a highly organized and adaptable Peer Review Logistics and Solicitation Specialist for an upcoming opportunity to support NASA's Research and Education Support Services (NRESS) contract. This role supports the planning, coordination, and execution of research solicitation processes and peer review meetings. Responsibilities span meeting logistics, reviewer support, data tracking, and task coordination, making it ideal for professionals experienced in event operations, business process support, and science program administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate logistics for peer review meetings, workshops, and proposal evaluation panels (both virtual and in-person), including travel arrangements, honoraria payments, venue setup, and participant communications.
- Serve as a key point of contact for reviewers, panelists, and participants throughout the planning and execution of events.
- Use meeting planning and logistics systems to track travel, financial data, and panel participation.
- Support solicitation planning, including formatting and organizing proposal data, creating reviewer status updates, and tracking progress against deadlines.
- Prepare summaries, status reports, and other documentation as required by project managers or NASA stakeholders.
- Assist in resolving logistical issues related to travel, reimbursement, or remote access, including coordination of unusual or urgent support needs.
- Collaborate with project managers, NASA program staff, and other contract personnel to ensure deliverables are completed on time and to quality standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of logistics systems, data tracking tools, and panel support procedures.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in meeting logistics, business process support, or peer review operations.
- Demonstrated experience supporting multi-day or multi-session events for large groups (virtual or in-person).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and standard business or event coordination software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially in time-sensitive and customer-facing settings.
- Ability to obtain a NASA Public Trust clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting federal research or science agency meetings (e.g., NASA, NSF, NIH).
- Familiarity with NASA's research solicitation process or systems such as NSPIRES.
- Background working in cross-functional teams or matrixed environments.
- Experience with reviewer coordination, reimbursement protocols, or logistics systems.
