(Train on 1st Shift Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:00pm.) TITLE: NDT Operator REPORTS TO: NDT Supervisor Job Description: Responsible for running X-ray and ultrasonic wall inspection on all routed patterns, maintaining logs, and notifying supervision of issues. Responsibilities: Follows the customer work instructions to run X-ray and wall inspections with the proper settings and equipment Understand risks and proper procedures associated with working around radiation Will accurately record X-ray inspection results in the appropriate log and location Will meet the designated rates for production and accurately fill production time sheets Will accurately monitor results of inspections to maintain product flow and identify issues Will notify supervision of issues with product failure Follow all safety and 6-S guidelines for the area Physical and Mental Demands: Must be detail and safety oriented Must possess or be trained in basic computer skills Physical ability to move up to 35 pounds An understanding of the English language is necessary Ability to effectively communicate with supervision as necessary All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
