Job Title: Commercial Cabling Technician
Location: Fairfield CT Job Type: Contract / Full-Time Company Overview: We are a growing technology services provider specializing in structured cabling and network infrastructure. We support commercial clients across Connecticut with reliable, high-quality installations and service. Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Commercial Cabling Technician to assist with pulling, routing, and terminating low-voltage cables (Cat5e, Cat6, etc.) at commercial site in Fairfield, CT. This is a hands-on field role requiring travel to job sites. Responsibilities: * Pull, route, and secure network cabling in commercial environments * Terminate and test Cat5e/Cat6 cables * Install jacks, patch panels, and faceplates * Read and interpret blueprints and floor plans * Maintain a clean and safe work environment * Communicate effectively with team leads and project managers Requirements: * 1+ years of experience in structured cabling or low-voltage installations * Familiarity with cable testers, hand tools, and termination techniques * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Reliable transportation and valid driver's license * Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work on ladders Preferred Qualifications: * CT Low Voltage License (Huge Plus) * Experience with fiber optic cabling * Basic knowledge of network hardware Compensation: Pay is based on experience. Competitive rates offered for qualified candidates. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $30.00/hr.
