TEKsystems is partnering with a transportation and logistics company in Burlington County, NJ to hire a Freight Operations Representative to join their growing team. This position will serve as an expert in coordinating freight loads with customers and ensuring logistical services. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with room for advancement long-term. Description: * Identify transportation balance needs in order to keep fleets moving profitably. * Manage multiple customer shipments simultaneously. * Utilize online load boards to acquire head hauls and back hauls at good rates. * Schedule all aspects of pick up/delivery with shipper, consignee and carrier. * Effectively track shipment status through various methods * Identify opportunities to increase efficiency and profitability. Qualifications: * 2+ years experience in customer service/administration * Bachelors degree preferred but not required * Microsoft skills * Logistics experience preferred but not required Additional Details: * Monday-Friday * 8am-5pm * On-site * Full company benefits Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
