Training Support Operator

Job Summary:

KEMET, a YAGEO Group company, is seeking a person to assist training functions within the Simpsonville, SC location. This is a first shift position that must have flexibility to work various shifts and work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• May conduct training classes and may participate in contract employee orientations.
• Schedule TDL training to meet required training schedules.
• Conduct initial TDL certification and recertification.
• Perform Skill and Knowledge Requirements TDL certification.
• Perform any required Training Reviews or LOA Training Reviews.
• Works closely with the area Process Engineering regarding training documentation as new processes are implemented.
• Enter individual TDL or applicable training in K Train or maintain Excel Spreadsheets as necessary to provide training record/ history.
• May participate in Internal and External audits.
• Work with the Quality and Process Engineering departments to implement process and document changes, TCAs, and Quality Alerts.
• Perform document control and record retention tasks.
• Performs other duties as required.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Must have a good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
• Possess good time management skills and be self-motivating.
• Capable and experienced in working independently to a production schedule.
• Excellent attention to detail and good organizational skills.
• Excellent teamwork skills, which include demonstrating a positive attitude, good work ethic, and sense of urgency in completing tasks/projects.

Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment as required.
