We are looking for a Logistician II to support our customer in Newport, RI. The ideal candidate will be able to perform the following duties, as well as possess the following education and experience:

Duties:

Support SLUAS CM and ILS in any tasks required including:



  • Managing the software and hardware configurations for SLUAS onboard each platform with the alteration installed

    • Tracking platform configurations in Naval-wide databases


  • Obtaining access to Model Based Product Support databases and completing applicable training and ownership/permissions/roles
  • Formalizing ILS products to support SLUAS transitioning to Program of Record (PoR), including but not limited to Technical Documentation, Allowance Parts Lists (APLs), and Supply Support Planning

    • Development of APL for SLUAS system
    • Development of Maintenance Requirement Card (MRC) for SLUAS system
    • Managing development of technical manual updates and formalization/delivery to the Fleet, including revisions as required


  • Developing Engineering Changes and Temporary Engineering Changes and collaborating with Unmanned team members within our division to obtain data and ensure its accuracy
  • Attending group meetings as required
  • Positively interfacing with other activities (Program Sponsors, Naval Sea Logistics Center, NUWC Keyport, etc.) as required
  • Completing any other tasks requested by team leads supporting the completion of SLUAS CM/ILS products, such as assisting in the maintaining and organization of CM/ILS products, supporting CM/ILS documentation development and approval, and obtaining access to all databases required for completion of tasks


No travel is expected to be required for this position.

Desired Education:



  • High school/vocational school degree or GED certificate.


Desired Experience:



  • 7+ years professional experience in integrated logistics support.
  • Prior configuration management and/or integrated logistics support experience is a plus.
  • Maintain high attention to detail to ensure accuracy of data.
  • Complete tasks in a timely manner as required to support upcoming installations and deadlines.


Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Compensation at Precise Systems is determined by various factors, including education, experience, skills, competencies, and contract-specific requirements. The salary range for this position is $44,824.00-$100,000.00 (annualized USD). This range represents the standard pay for this role and is just one component of Precise Systems' total compensation package.
