Overview

Under the direction and in collaboration with the Milk Room Manager, the Assistant Milk Room Manager is responsible oversight of the operational processes and coordination of all activities related to the preparation, distribution and storage of expressed human milk and formula. The Milk Room Assistant Manager assist the Milk Room Manager with managing operational needs and assists in supervising operations, Milk Room Technicians and Formula Room Technicians.

Responsibilities

    Assists Milk and Formula Room Manager in operational oversight of the Milk and Formula Room operations.
  • Personnel management
  • Designs and implements process improvement activities within the Milk and Formula Room.
  • Under the direction of the Milk and Formula Room Manager, manages material resources such as equipment and supplies.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree and 1-2 years experience Applicable experience, leadership experience, trained in infection control practices or
  • Associate's Degree and 3-5 years experience Applicable experience, leadership experience, trained in infection control practices or
  • HS diploma or equivalent and 7 or more years experience Applicable experience, leadership experience, trained in Infection Control Practices
  • Membership in Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Preferred Upon Hire

Starting Pay

Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $25.63/hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.



Remote Work/Work from Home

This position is not eligible to work remotely, which means that the person hired will be required to work onsite at one of our Children's Mercy locations and may not work from home.
