Job Summary:

We are looking for Temporary Maintenance Staff and Laborer to help us keep our properties running smoothly! We need people who can use hand tools and small power equipment (like drills, saws, etc) to do basic repairs on doors, cabinets, plumbing, lighting, and other fixtures. You will also be responsible for general upkeep of buildings, grounds, and facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Perform all work in strict compliance with safety protocols and procedures.
• Use hand and air tools to perform necessary repairs on buildings, furniture, appliances, and equipment.
• Assist the operations team as needed, including moving furniture and equipment.
• Clean and maintain all areas of property, including bathrooms, kitchens, common spaces, and bedrooms.
• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment
• Assist with construction, demolition, landscaping, or general site preparation
• Operate basic hand tools and machinery under supervision
• Clean and maintain work sites by removing debris and hazardous materials
• Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or crew leaders
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Prior labor experience preferred but not required
• Must be able to follow instructions and work well in a team
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
• Dependability and punctuality are essential
• Willingness to work outdoors and in various weather conditions
• Prior experience working in maintenance or construction preferred but not required.
• Comfortable using ladders up to 14 ft high.
• Familiarity with hand and air tools.
• Basic plumbing and electrical skills desirable.
• Good communication skills and positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
