We are seeking a motivated and results driven Inside Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving revenue growth by developing strong customer relationships, identifying new sales opportunities, and delivering expert solutions in bearings, seals, belts, power transmission, and conveying systems. The ideal candidate is proactive, communicative, and passionate about providing value to clients across a variety of industries. Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Engagement: Build and nurture strong relationships with both existing and prospective clients through phone, email, and virtual meetings. Understand customer needs and recommend tailored solutions.
- Sales Generation: Respond to inbound inquiries, generate quotes, follow up on leads, and proactively identify new sales opportunities to drive revenue growth.
- Product Expertise: Develop in-depth knowledge of our product portfolio including bearings, seals, belts, power transmission, and conveying systems to provide accurate and effective recommendations.
- Order Processing: Manage the end-to-end sales process, ensuring timely and accurate order entry and coordination with the operations team for successful fulfillment.
- Customer Support: Resolve customer inquiries and issues promptly, while providing exceptional post-sale support to maintain high levels of satisfaction.
- Market Awareness: Stay up to date on industry trends, competitive offerings, and customer demands to better position Interstate Bearing Systems' value in the market.
- CRM Management: Leverage CRM tools to track customer interactions, manage sales pipelines, and maintain accurate reporting of activities and results.
- Team Collaboration: Partner with outside sales reps, technical experts, and product specialists to deliver well-rounded, effective solutions to customers.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in inside sales, customer service, or a related field. Experience in industrial sales or the bearings/power transmission industry is a strong plus.
- Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to quickly learn and effectively communicate technical product information
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and highly organized individual
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with bearings, seals, belts, power transmission, or conveying systems is preferred, but not required. A strong willingness to learn is essential.
