This role is only open to current IRC employees.
The ideal candidate will be a senior global relationship manager with a track record of leading teams in securing new partnerships as well as the successful execution and deepening of global corporate partnerships and personally managing and growing strategic partnerships with global corporate partners across a variety of different sectors at the 6-7 level figure in support of humanitarian and development work.
They must be well placed to inspire a team of fundraising experts to identify, cultivate, secure and grow holistic, 360-degree corporate partnerships across various business sectors. They will also demonstrate passion for the IRC's mission, nuanced understanding of private sector fundraising and sectoral corporate trends, and dedication to the organization's diversity, equity and inclusion values.
Major Responsibilities:
* Leads the team in the development and implementation of sector strategies for Financial Services and Health and in developing a new strategy and approach for mid-tier corporate donors ($100,000 and below).
* Works closely with the Senior Director, Global Corporate Partnerships in setting and delivering against annual income targets for the Financial Services, Health and mid-tier donor portfolios and contributing to the GCP team overarching goals and targets. Responsible for the timely and accurate monitoring and forecasting of all portfolios within this remit.
* Leads, expands, and supports the Financial Services and Health sector team efforts by personally cultivating and soliciting high-level, high-impact partnerships that call for an advanced level of seniority and technical competence.
* Inspires, empowers and challenges the team through active mentorship, encouraging an inclusive environment that supports new insights and innovative ways of developing and managing partnerships.
* Works closely with the Senior Director of Global Corporate Partnerships to develop and cultivate a robust new business pipeline across the Financial Services, Health and Mid-Tier portfolios
* Oversees the design and implementation of creative stewardship, engagement and growth strategies for partners within the portfolio including account plans, proposal submissions and partnership discussions.
* Acts as a senior leader, working closely with the Director of Tech & Consumer Partnerships, Senior Director GCP and in teaming up with the other leaders across ER, maintaining, cultivating and developing an outstanding global fundraising team; through enhanced focus on personal development and succession planning across teams.
* Provides best in class People Management to support and develop line reports and role model IRC leadership and IRC DEI principles.
* Plays a key liaison role between GCP and IRC programs teams to ensure program development is aligned with corporate interests and to ensure GCP understands organizational fundraising priorities especially in light of dynamic organizational environment.
* Facilitates information flow across GCP, representing GCP in select cross-functional groups and ensuring key organizational priorities, deliverables and deadlines are communicated across the team
* Leads on select GCP initiatives designed to promote culture, professional development and team unity
* Coordinates GCP's involvement in conferences and other profile-building events, researching opportunities, and working with Senior Director to identify best GCP/IRC participants and build business case for funding
* Shows dedication to supporting our diversity, equality and inclusion efforts through the development of multi-faceted, positive partnerships that benefit a wide range of clients with varying backgrounds;
* Undertakes special assignments and responsibilities, as directed.
Essential Qualifications:
Work Experience:
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience 8 years+ in the corporate fundraising and partnership space, particularly in managing corporate fundraisers in a similar scope/scale of portfolio, organizational size and team.
* Sectoral insight/expertise in financial services and health would be a strong asset. Previous experience across a wider range of sectors and modalities would also be preferred.
* Direct experience with corporate partnerships and fundraising techniques; including acquiring financial support for projects and securing large donations.
* Consistent record of negotiating and securing seven-figure plus corporate partnerships
* Management experience in guiding, leading and motivating a successful, complex team.
* Understanding of how to reconcile the needs of an organization with those of the private sector partner
* Demonstration of creativity and problem solving in working with corporate partners
* Ability to explain sophisticated issues to donors and prospects and present the organization in an engaging and concise manner
* Excellent communication skills with good interpersonal and negotiation skills
* Knowledge about humanitarian and international development work
Working Environment:
This role may require working remotely part-time. Applicants must have a home or alternate workspace they can effectively complete their work from during regularly scheduled hours.

Compensation:Posted pay ranges apply to US-based candidates. Ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, internal equity, and budget. Exact offers are calibrated by work location, individual candidate experience and skills relative to the defined job requirements.
