Upholstery Specialist

Position Overview

We are seeking a talented Upholsterer/Re-upholstererwith strong sewing and fabric-cuttingskills to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, experienced with various fabrics, and capable of producing clean, accurate cuts and seams to support our high-quality furniture standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Cut fabric and patterns precisely for re-upholstery projects
• Operate industrial sewing machines to create tight, durable seams
• Read and interpret measurements and templates
• Remove old coverings and prepare furniture frames for re-upholstery
• Install foam, batting, and support materials
• Maintain consistent quality and attention to detail throughout all projects

Qualifications

• Experience in upholstery cutting and sewing required
• Proficient with industrial and commercial sewing machines
• Strong understanding of upholstery materials and techniques
• Able to work with various fabric types, patterns, and textures
• Reliable, organized, and able to meet production deadlines
• Ability to lift and move furniture as needed
