About the Job

This position is located in the Department of Neurology. This position supports multiple projects including Stroke Net related projects and tele-stroke QI program. This position is a temporary, 8-9 month position.

Duties/Responsibilities:
100% - Provide research support:
* Conduct research and experiments including data management & processing of results with the Stroke program and Stroke Net investigators to develop sound scientific analysis, according to best practices in stroke medical care.
* Assist in developing budgets, working with the department financial team, to make sure costs are accurately estimated and forecast (for multi-year budgets).
* Provide the clinical and trial team with timeline and focused milestones, prepare and submit
required grant documents with adequate review and oversight from department administration.
* Coordinate submission and approval from IRB and other entities such as Fairview, including obtaining IRB-mandated scientific review and submission of associated materials
* Coordinate the data entry and the study statistics and resources, develop templates for efficiency and accuracy, monitor quality of data entry.
* Data analysis, working with Stroke Net, CTSI, departmental statistics resources to ensure
proper analysis and improve publication speed.
* Prepare the content for the template at outset of study for review by team members
* Presentation preparation, per needs of the team, with early preparation to allow changes,
additions, improvements prior to departure for the meeting site.
* Assist to prepare final reports, according to study protocols and requirements prior to the deadline for PIs to ensure quality of study.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
* BA/BS, or combination of related education and work experience to equal 4 years.
* Excellent problem solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

* Strong organizational and communication skills
* Medical Degree and completion of a vascular neurology fellowship program
* Proficient at EPIC

Pay Range: $20.00/hr - $20.44/hr; depending on education/qualifications/experience.
