Job Overview: We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Laboratory Technician to join our team. Under direct supervision, this individual will be introduced to industry-standard chemical hygiene protocols and HSE (Health, Safety, and Environmental) laboratory safety standards. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow in a lab environment and gain hands-on experience with testing equipment and procedures. Key Responsibilities: Train and become familiar with the chemical hygiene plan and current HSE lab safety standards Follow prescribed safety rules and regulations during daily tasks Assist with prototype and laboratory testing following established procedures Learn to build equipment or conduct basic material/environmental tests using electrical, chemical, or mechanical tools Accurately document test data for internal reporting Maintain files and documentation related to test equipment and results Perform tasks that support the lab with minimal impact on overall operations Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required College coursework in chemistry (minimum 8 hours preferred) Strong interest in laboratory safety and HSE standards Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety guidelines Organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn Basic understanding of lab equipment is a plus
