Position Title: Production Worker

Wage: $19.95 per hour

Shift: 2nd

Hours: 3:00pm-11:00pm

QPS Employment Group has a great Production Worker position available at a company in Quincy, IL. This is a 2nd shift position with the opportunity for hire.

Production Worker Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Operate production equipment, including hoists and forklifts.

- Load and unload products from machines.

- Observe machine operations, identify defects, and make necessary adjustments.

- Maintain cleanliness and safety in the workspace.

Production Worker Requirements:

- Ability to lift 50-100 lbs. consistently throughout shift.

- Stand for 8-12 hours per shift.

- Ability to grip, push, pull, and manipulate materials while frequently bending, stooping, twisting, and kneeling.

- Work in a loud, hot environment.

- Forklift Operators must roll and position wheels over 100 lbs.

- Painters must wear a Tyvek suit, respirator, and gloves throughout the shift.

- Mechanical aptitude and basic math skills.

- Ability to read blueprints.

- Ability to follow safety protocols and directions from supervisors.

- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and self-motivation.

- Good communication and analytical skills.
