Quality Operations Specialist

The Quality Operations Specialist (QOS) plays a key role in ensuring the effective execution of training and auditing functions within their designated department. This role is responsible for conducting training sessions and audits for both individual team members and groups to ensure alignment with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The QOS ensures compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS) and facilitates continuous improvement initiatives. Additionally, the QOS serves as the primary point of contact for all matters related to quality and training, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence.

9am-6pm

• Training (50%): Deliver both classroom-based and hands-on training sessions to team members, ensuring that all training aligns with established standards.

• Auditing and Continuous Improvement (30%): Conduct regular audits, providing actionable feedback to enhance team performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

• Training and Auditing Documentation (10%): Assist in the development and maintenance of all necessary training and auditing documentation. Ensure that training and audit records are properly documented within the Quality Management System (QMS).

• Coaching and Feedback (10%): Provide immediate feedback and coaching to department leaders, supporting corrective actions and enhancing overall business operations.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Adhere to company attendance and punctuality standards.

Experience:

• 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience in a similar role.

Education & Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree Preferred.

• Preferred certifications: Lean Sigma Certification, Certified Manager of Quality - Organizational Excellence (CMQ-OE).
