Position Title: Line Operator
Wage: 1st shift $19.82/hour, 2nd shift $20.32/hour Shift: 1st, 2nd Hours: 1st shift starts at 4am or 6am, 2nd shift starts at 2pm or 4pm; 9 hours shifts, Monday-Friday with weekends possible, QPS Employment Group is hiring a Line Operator for a company in Macon, MO. This is an associate to hire role. Line Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Add ingredients and raw materials onto the production line to allow machinery to dispense and cook products - Once items have been produced, help stack products to prepare for shipping - Set-up and take down aspects of the production line to support different products being produced - Cleanliness is important; help with equipment sanitation and maintain a clean work area - Follow quality assurance and good manufacturing practices Line Operator Requirements: - High school diploma or GED required - Overtime may be needed to ensure production demands are fulfilled - Flexibility to work varying shifts and workdays - Lift boxes up to 50 pounds, climb stairs, use hands in a freezer environment - Work in a manufacturing environment with large machinery and moving parts that can be noisy - Safety is important, personal protective equipment will be provided - Any previous manufacturing experience preferred QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
